[Frascati Winery Countermap]
Digital Zine Design
Software: Adobe Illustrator
Under the Vines was a project during my study abroad in Rome where I explored the layered histories of Frascati’s wine territory. Designed in a restrained monochrome palette with selective red accents, the publication gradually shifts from the familiar language of wine tourism to a deeper reading of the land.
Through mapping, geological diagrams, archival fragments, and atmospheric photography, the zine guides the viewer downward—from vineyard surfaces to the volcanic tuff beneath, and finally into the underground cellars that served as shelter during the 1943 bombing of Frascati.

[Stop Motion Video Project]
Making Kimchi At-Home
Video Editing Software: Premiere Pro
For my class project, we were tasked with creating a stop motion video using Premiere Pro. I decided to make a playful tutorial on how to make kimchi, crafted entirely with clay.
My creative direction was inspired by the nostalgic visuals of Cooking Mama, my favorite childhood cooking game, which first introduced me to Korean recipes while I was growing up in the United States. By blending the step-by-step logic of a tutorial with the tactile quality of stop motion, I wanted to highlight the cultural importance of kimchi while also reimagining it through the lens of childhood memory and digital play.
